A German photographer named Julie Christe recently had the ingenious idea of celebrating man’s best friend via an exhibition of them flying through the air.
With their fur flying and paws stretched out behind them, these photos are currently doing a storm on Twitter, with the story going viral on social media, (as well as getting a spot of news coverage.)
Ms Christie managed to capture these mid-leap snaps, which include a range of breeds, among them huskies and Chinese Crested Dogs.
To create the photographs, the dogs were dropped onto a mattress by their off-camera owners from a low height, with extra drama created via the use of a wind machine. Excellent stuff.
